JPI Glass runs a Department of Labor certified glazing apprenticeship training program in coordination with Associated Builders and Contractors, Heart of America Chapter.
The Apprenticeship Program helps meet the skilled workforce needs of American industry, training qualified individuals for lifelong glazing careers. Graduates of the Apprenticeship Program received structured on-the-job learning. The program also helps create a highly trained and skilled workforce.
Our apprentices complete a three year on the job training program where they attend class during the week in the evening. The classroom portion covers everything from construction drawings, to joint sealants, to fall protection, to glazing practices.
Upon completion of the program our apprentices graduate with other skilled trade professionals and are promoted to journeyman glaziers.
